Your Transformation Cycle
This is the one active in the range that asks you to go slowly. Build up, and the results hold.
Days 1 – 7
Use 2–3 nights only. Mild dryness or light flaking is normal as turnover accelerates — the Ceramides and Squalane are there to keep it manageable.
Days 8 – 14
Dryness settles and you can increase frequency. Texture is the first visible win — skin feels smoother to the touch before it looks different.
Days 15 – 28
Fine lines look softened, pores appear refined and tone reads brighter. Deeper lines continue to improve over several months of consistent use.
How to Use
Retinol increases the skin's sensitivity to sunlight, so it belongs in your evening routine — and daily SPF becomes non-negotiable.
Start with 2–3 nights per week and increase as your skin builds tolerance. Do not use while pregnant or breastfeeding.

Retinol without daily sunscreen undoes itself. SPF 60 is the essential partner here.

Clinical answers about usage, skin safety and expected results.
Mild dryness or light flaking in the first two weeks is a normal part of retinisation as cell turnover speeds up. Reduce to twice a week, keep moisturising, and it settles. Persistent burning or significant irritation is not normal — stop and let the barrier recover.
Yes, but at opposite ends of the day. Vitamin C in the morning under SPF, Retinol at night. Layering them together increases irritation without improving results.
1% is a serious clinical strength, which is why the protocol matters more than the number. Starting at 2–3 nights per week and building slowly lets most skin types reach nightly use comfortably. If you have never used a retinoid, begin at twice weekly.
Avoid the immediate eye area and lips. The skin there is thinner and far more likely to react. Apply to the face and neck, staying clear of those zones.
Retinoids are generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Please speak to your doctor first. The 10% Niacinamide Serum is a widely used alternative for texture and tone during that period.
Texture improves within 2–4 weeks. Fine lines take longer — our reviewer noticed a clear softening of forehead lines at around 8 weeks. Retinol is a long game; the results compound with consistency.
